First Week

 Well, we have officially finished our first week of school and it has flown by at record speed.  We have been playing lots of games to practice writing and recognizing our names.

What have we been playing with? Just about everything!

Our goal for September is recognizing and writing your own name independently. 

Welcome to Kindergarten!

Welcome to school!  We had a great first day in Room 12.  We read stories, made friends, played outside and learned all about the classroom and school.  It was a fun, but very tiring day!  Check back regularly to see what we are up to in the classroom. 

Also, please remember to send in the following items with your student:

• emergency change of clothes
• indoor shoes that students can manage on their own (slip-on or velcro)
• headphones in a labelled bag

Welcome to the Kindergarten Class!

Hello and welcome to our Kindergarten blog! This website will be used as an opportunity to showcase to families a few of the neat things that we are exploring throughout our day in the classroom. Remember to check the blog at the end of each week to see what we have been up to! 

Also, we will be posting newsletters and important reminders on here. Eventually, our class goal is to go paperless with regards to newsletters home to cut back on our ecological footprint.
